CFP de l'Estuaire is a public vocational centre of the Centre de services scolaire de l'Estuaire, and the DEP Électricité provider (programme 5295, 1,800 hours, in French) in Baie-Comeau.

On Quebec's North Shore (Côte-Nord), Baie-Comeau is an industrial town built around hydroelectric power and heavy industry, making this one of the region's key local routes into the electrical trade without relocating.
