The Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) delivers the French-language electrical technical training in New Brunswick — making NB one of the few provinces where you can train for the trade in French at a provincial college.
CCNB operates French-language campuses across northern and eastern New Brunswick (including Bathurst, Dieppe and Edmundston), serving the province's Acadian and francophone communities.
Admissions: Construction Electrician is a compulsory-certification Red Seal trade in New Brunswick (Skilled Trades NB): you register an apprenticeship with a sponsoring employer, complete four levels (7,200 hours) with CCNB's French-language technical training plus on-the-job work, pass the Red Seal exam, and obtain a provincial Class 3 Electrician Licence to practise. Confirm the campus, program, prerequisites and intakes with CCNB before applying. (Current as of 2026.)
