About North American Trade Schools (NATS)

North American Trade Schools (NATS) is a private career college in London offering a hands-on pre-apprenticeship electrical program — a fee-based head start before Ontario's registered 309A apprenticeship.

London is southwestern Ontario's hub, with a broad construction and manufacturing employer base.

Admissions: This private-college program builds foundational skills but does not replace the registered apprenticeship — electrician is a compulsory trade (309A), so you still need a sponsoring employer, about 9,000 hours and the Certificate of Qualification exam. Confirm current tuition, prerequisites and intakes with NATS before applying. (Current as of 2026.)
