About North West College

North West College offers a pre-employment electrician program in North Battleford, serving northwestern Saskatchewan.

North Battleford anchors a northwest-Saskatchewan region of agriculture, resources and services, where local training keeps students close to home.

Admissions: This pre-employment electrician program builds core skills and can earn first-level apprenticeship credit; it doesn't replace the apprenticeship — you still register with SATCC, apprentice under a qualified employer, complete the levels and on-the-job hours, and pass the journeyperson exams (Red Seal). Confirm current tuition, prerequisites and intakes with North West College before applying. (Current as of 2026.)
