IBEW Local 2085 Code of Excellence Training Centre

About IBEW Local 2085 Code of Excellence Training Centre

The IBEW Local 2085 Code of Excellence Training Centre is the unionized route into the electrical trade in Manitoba, based in Winnipeg.

IBEW Local 2085 covers Manitoba, placing apprentices with signatory contractors across the province from its Winnipeg base.

Admissions: This is the unionized route: the training centre delivers electrical training and IBEW Local 2085 connects apprentices with signatory employers; you still register your apprenticeship with Apprenticeship Manitoba and complete the four levels plus on-the-job hours toward your Certificate of Qualification (Red Seal), then obtain the provincial electrician's licence required to work. Contact IBEW Local 2085 directly. (Current as of 2026.)
